Tussmötevägen is a
"staff cooperation", whitch means that
the staff together owns the Pre-escool. It is divided into three sibling
sections: Lyan, Holken and Grytet. There are ca 20 children from the age: one
to seven, and three teatchers in each section. Our sections are very opened and
the children are not obliged to stay in their specific sections for more than
lunch and circle-time. During the time for outdoor or free play, all three
sections are mixed up. We have also divided the children into so
called"across-groups" according to their ages, for the planned
art-activites.
Tussmötevägen
does not want to be associated with a specific alignment, even though we work
a lot with creativeness and the environment. Our goal is to integrate the
environment in the daily routines and make the children aware of
the inportance of recycling. We have chosen to work mostly with
creative art as our highest priority. To reach the goal of
creativity we have taken away a lot of toys and instead intruduce
our children to different materials with which they can be
creative.

During the across-groups the children are divided into
groups of about six to ten children in each group where they get
to do activities that suits that particular age. We work with
different themes. This term we work with: "LOVE" in all
three sections. Our aim is to educate strong, curious, social and democratic
children. We want the children to be able to decide as much as
possible over their own lives. We work with computers and we also work a lot with early
reading and counting.
